Next monday the ARIADNEplus kick-off meeting
A digital platform for integrating data from Archaeologic investigations, scientific data included.
This is the ambitious goal of the European project ARIADNEplus, follow-up of ARIADNE, including as a new partner also INFN through its CHNet network.
CHNet is already working on its digilab, that is digital archives which will allow CHNet researchers (as a first step) to share data coming from all the network nodes. This will open new possibilities for the researchers, for example as for what concerns data reusing: a group will be able to access already acquired data to address new questions, instead of repeating the instrumental analysis.
In order to make all the digital archives of the Institutions involved in Archaeological studies compatible with each other, a common language for data description is required. This will be one of the topics of the ARIADNEplus week, taking place from February 11st to 14th at PIN in Prato.
Here the final agenda of the meeting and the link to the ARIADNEplus website.
