The international network at work: the Argentinian researchers visiting INFN laboratories in Florence

It’s been a fruitful july for the internationalization of the network: two of the researchers of Tarea, restoration centre of the Universidad de San Martín, Buenos Aires, were visiting the INFN laboratories in Florence, just over a year from the beginning of the collaboration between the two Institutions. For the Argentinian and Italian researchers it has been a great opportunity to work together in two projects: the development of an ultra-compact X-Ray Fluorescence scanning system and the realization of a graphitization line in Tarea for the preparation of samples for radiocarbon dating.
Of course a visit to the restoration laboratories of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure could not be missed!
