Physics&Art. The CHNet Network: the National Institute for Nuclear Physics serving cultural heritage

On Monday, 9 July 2018 from 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm, the Cultural Heritage Network (CHNet) launch event will be held in Rome at the Spadolini auditorium of Collegio Romano. Organized by INFN in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MiBACT), the event takes stock of experiences, technologies and skills gained in over thirty years of activity in the sector. A combination of art and science that meets the needs of conservation, restoration, protection, valorisation of our cultural heritage. Analysis, Research, Training and Sustainability (ARTS) are the sessions in which the presentations are organised and which trace the activities of the CHNet network. A roundtable, in which the various public and private actors working in cultural heritage will participate, will close the event. REGISTRATION NEEDED, RSVP:

About

CHNet is the network of Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) which brings together laboratories working on the development and the applications of analytical techniques for the study and the diagnostics of Cultural Heritage. The network is monitored by CNTT, the National Committee for the Technological Transfer of INFN. The LABEC laboratory, INFN unit of Florence, is the reference structure.
