New IPERION CH.it call open!

Collaborations, E-RIHS, In-situ analysis, Projects

The new announcement for the call for access to the fixed and mobile laboratories of the extended network E-RIHS (European Research Infrastructure on Heritage Science) is available on IPERION CH.it (national hub of E-RIHS) website (http://www.iperionch.eu/web/iperion_it/).

The call is addressed to archaeologists, conservators, art historians, researches in the field of cultural heritage, who can submit their projects aimed at the enhancement and conservation of cultural heritage. The winners will be able to realise their projects with the best italian laboratories. The initiative is supported by MIUR. Partners of IPERION CH.it are: Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Consorzio Interuniversitaio Nazionale per la Scienza e la Tecnologia dei Materiali (INSTM), Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), Opificio delle Pietre Dure (OPD) for the Italian Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo (MiBACT) and Agenzia Nazionale per le Nuove Tecnologie, l’Energia e lo Sviluppo Economico Sostenibile (ENEA) for the Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico (MISE).

The deadline is on march 25th 2016.

Some of the winner projects of the last edition were: the Alexander Mosaic of the National Archaeological Museum in Naples, the Flemish triptych of Polizzi Generosa (PA, Sicily), the Pollock collection of the Guggenheim in Venice and the mural paintings of the Sant’Angelo di Casalrotto rock church in Mottola (TA).

CHNet is the network of Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) which brings together laboratories working on the development and the applications of analytical techniques for the study and the diagnostics of Cultural Heritage. The network is monitored by CNTT, the National Committee for the Technological Transfer of INFN. The LABEC laboratory, INFN unit of Florence, is the reference structure.
