CHNet XRF scanner at “Centro Conservazione e Restauro” of Venaria

The collaboration between CHNet and the Centro Conservazione e Restauro (CCR) “La Venaria Reale” is started. After the CHNet meeting of November, during which the CCR was welcomed into the network, the scanner XRF has already been employed in the CCR laboratories.
The scanner will be used for one month to study the artworks that are under restoration in the laboratories. The CHNet researchers of Florence, Turin and the New York University of Abu Dhabi are investigating the materials used by the artists in order to discover their secrets.
