Access to E-RIHS.it laboratories: artworks “talk”

Collaborations, Divulgation, E-RIHS, In-situ analysis

Access to the best Italian instrumentation and expertise for studying our Cultural Heritage: this is possible thanks to the calls launched every year by IPERION CH.it, the Italian hub of the European Infrastructure E-RIHS.
On december 14th, in Complesso di San Micheletto in Lucca, some of the researchers whose proposals were selected will talk about their experience with the IPERION CH.it laboratories and the results of their work: diagnostic exams on paintings, sculptures, mosaics, etc. performed thanks to IPERION CH.it instrumentation and competencies.
Among the selected projects for the first edition: The Pollock collection of the Guggenheim in Venezia; the rock church of Sant’Angelo di Casalrotto, Mottola (TA); the study of the painting materials in the Italian Divisionism in the GNAM; S. Orsola cycle by Vittore Carpaccio in the Galleria dell’Accademia in Venezia.

At the end of the meeting the new call for 2017 will be launched.
